I should like to express my sincere...
I should like to express my sincere gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me for more than thirty years.
One healing that took some time to accomplish, but from which I learned much, was a healing of warts on my hands. I worked prayerfully for several years trying to get rid of them until one day it was pointed out to me that our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, states on page 113 of Science and Health, "Life, God, omnipotent good, deny death, evil, sin, disease."
As I pondered that statement, the thought came to me: Since God denies even erroneous physical condition, how can I uphold what He denies? The next day I noticed the warts were beginning to disappear. Then it came clearly to me that since in reality they were never there, there was in reality nothing to disappear. I did no more metaphysical work on the problem. A few days afterward I noticed the warts had entirely disappeared.
