Christian Science, elucidating the teachings of the Bible, acquaints us with the fact that we have the God-given right to demonstrate immunity from the so-called ills of the flesh, to rise above the testimony of the material senses, and to claim the glorious freedom of a perfect child of God. Christ Jesus gave this message to his followers (Luke 10:19): "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
