Unending gratitude is due to God for the many blessings, for the health, peace, and security that have been mine through the study of Christian Science, which explains the nature of God.

Ever since I was placed in a Christian Science Sunday School as a young child by my mother, I have found that understanding prayer to God heals diseases, allays fears, and enables me to understand more clearly man's true being, free from sin, disease, and death. The Sunday School always meant a great deal to me, and I feel especially grateful for the guidance and loving help received from the teachers.

As a result of this early instruction, I was able to realize God's care and protection through high school and college days, and I have been able to maintain health and strength in rearing a family, relying completely on my understanding of God through the study of Science, sometimes with the help of a practitioner.
