When
something unusual occurs—someone is suddenly healed of what was supposed to be an incurable disease, a calamity is averted, an event which is difficult to explain takes place— people are apt to declare, "It's a miracle!" But what do they mean?
I should
like to add to that of others my praise and gratitude to God for the many, many healings we have had in our family through the study and application of Christian Science.
Unending
gratitude is due to God for the many blessings, for the health, peace, and security that have been mine through the study of Christian Science, which explains the nature of God.
Christian Science
was introduced to our family almost half a century ago by a dearly beloved grandmother, who had been a semi-invalid during most of her life.
About
forty years ago I began to study Christian Science, and my family and I have had many wonderful healings over the years, Not long ago I severely hurt my back and could not walk.
Christian Science
came into our home more than forty years ago when our little girl was cured of a serious illness which could not be diagnosed or cured by the doctor attending her.
For
a long time I have wanted to express my deep gratitude to Christian Science, but I have not known how best to make a choice for this purpose because of the many blessings for which I am indebted to it.
