In 1945 I had been bedridden...
In 1945 I had been bedridden with a heart condition for a year and finally was rushed to a hospital for blood transfusions. There it was found that I was also suffering from cancer. A dear sister was called to my bedside and was told by the doctors that I had only a week to live.
My sister asked me if I had thought of trying Christian Science. I told her that I had but that I believed my family would not want it for me. She assured me that the family was ready to try anything that I thought would heal me.
I was taken home, and a practitioner who was called kindly encouraged me to place radical reliance on God for my healing. Treatment was continued, and in three months' time, as I overcame resentment over a problem in human relationships, I was healed of both the cancer and the heart condition.
