I should like to add to that of...
I should like to add to that of others my praise and gratitude to God for the many, many healings we have had in our family through the study and application of Christian Science.
This wonderful religion was presented to me during a period of severe trials. I had been under the care of two physicians for over two years. Relief was spasmodic, and a healing was not effected. In desperation and filled with fear, I turned to a friend who was a Christian Scientist, and she assured me that I too could be healed as so many others had been.
Trusting completely in God with that necessary childlike trust, I began to read the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I started to attend the Wednesday evening testimony meetings and Sunday services of a branch church. I can remember going to the medicine cabinet, emptying its contents into a peck basket, filling it to the top, and disposing of it.
