Several years ago I found myself...
Several years ago I found myself in a state of tension, fast losing weight, weak and dizzy, and constantly filled with a sense of panic. At first, I practically ignored the physical symptoms; then, as the condition grew worse, I tried to work for myself as we are taught in Christian Science.
Eventually in desperation I sought the help of a consecrated practitioner. At the very first visit, I was given great support and encouragement and went home to dig into the Bible and the writings of our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
One of the first stays to which I held is the verse in the Bible which reads (Isa. 41:10), "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness."
