"He shall bring forth thy righteousness"
"The acknowledgment that man's nature is already
complete ... is ... effectual prayer"
The action and purpose of true prayer are well described in the thirty-seventh Psalm where it says of God, the divine Mind, "He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday." In the whole of God's infinite being, there is nothing but righteousness to bring forth. This is why prayer in Christian Science is concerned with bringing forth the righteousness that characterizes true being.
