I wish to express my deep...
I wish to express my deep thanks to God, the Giver of all good, for Christian Science and for all it has done for me; for Christ Jesus; for Mrs. Eddy, his sincere and faithful follower; for membership in The Mother Church and a branch church; and for class instruction. And I should like to record the following healing.
One evening I found difficulty in controlling one of my legs. I felt some anxiety and got up several times in the night to see if I was all right! The following morning I had difficulty in standing and even fell down. When this happened I refused to accept defeat and quickly got myself up again. But by the evening I was unable to walk or even to crawl.
During that night I realized that, not only for my own sake, but also for the sake of those around me, I must be looked after. I had never dreamed that anything like this would happen to me; but through the night I became willing to do what was best for all.
