In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy...
In Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, our Leader, we read, "When we wait patiently on God and seek Truth righteously, He directs our path" (p. 254).
Because of my gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science, I wish to relate two experiences proving God's love.
When suddenly confronted with a complete change in my life upon the passing of a dear one, I turned to God for guidance. Left alone with the responsibility of maintaining a home, I found myself faced with many decisions. Wholehearted reliance on God opened the way. Our Leader's statement in the textbook (ibid., p. 199), "The devotion of thought to an honest achievement makes the achievement possible," gave me courage and strength. And Paul says (I These. 5:17), "Pray without ceasing." This I earnestly endeavored to do.
