At a time in my life when I was suffering from four different physical difficulties, a newly found friend gave me a copy of The Christian Science Journal and of the Christian Science Sentinel to read. I had heard much talk against Christian Science in my family; so a false sense of guilt caused me to hide the magazines, thinking I might read them sometime.

One day in great distress I suddenly thought of them again. An article in each magazine removed my objections to what I had thought Christian Science was; so I borrowed a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and in about six weeks' time as I read it line by line I realized I had been completely healed of astigmatism, a displaced organ, fallen arches, and an intestinal restriction of twenty years' duration.

Truly Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health, Pref., p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," came to life for me.
