When Jesus asked his disciples (John 6:62), "What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?" he revealed a clear understanding of his spiritual preexistence. To Jesus, this was no mystery but a tangible, practical, conscious reality of being, which he accepted without question.
