I write this testimony with great gratitude for having found the way of Principle and Love in Christian Science.

Some years ago I was in a lamentable state of health. Doctors had diagnosed stomach ulcers, anemia, and low blood pressure and had tried many cures, but none of them brought me any improvement. I now understand that what I needed was not material remedies but a change of thought. I had never experienced happiness of any kind in my life. I was always searching for it, but was unable to find it. I was bitter, disillusioned, and irritated by everybody and everything.

Then a kind woman who was acquainted with Science asked me why I did not try this religion; and so it was that without the least understanding of its teachings I turned eagerly to it. I got in touch by telephone with a kindly practitioner. I was feeling very ill, and she told me to go to bed and she would give me treatment. When I awoke, the illnesses had all gone. I was amazed at this wonderful awakening.
