Having been blessed so often...
Having been blessed so often over a period of twenty-five years through the application of the truth taught in Christian Science, I feel it is time I expressed my gratitude and added my testimony to the many that have helped me through our periodicals.
One outstanding healing happened in my early study of Science. One day going home from business I fell backwards down a flight of stairs, banging my head on each one, including two stone steps at the bottom. As I was falling, I found myself repeating "the scientific statement of being" from page 468 in Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy.
I picked myself up and found that I had not received any injury at all. I was rather shaken up; so I went to a Christian Science Reading Room not far away. After spending an hour there studying some of the truths of man found in the textbook, I went home perfectly free, having proved to a degree that, as the statement mentioned above says, "Spirit is God, and man is His image and likeness."
