Activities for the Armed Services
In the January 11, 1964, issue of the Christian Science Sentinel this column describes the preparation needed by those entering the Armed Forces. This month we shall enlarge on this subject.
Field workers of Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services report that those undergoing basic or recruit training sometimes express great fear and that unless this fear is overcome, they may become unhappy and fail to perform their duties as well as they should, or they may even yield to sickness or other forms of error.
Since peace of mind and confidence are essential for success in every field of endeavor, those who enter military service must learn to rout fear. This they can do through Christian Science.
