My heart overflows with gratitude...

My heart overflows with gratitude to God for all the good I have received through the knowledge of Christian Science. I am grateful to have had the privilege of being brought up in this religion and for having been able to attend Sunday School. All through my childhood I had wonderful proofs of God's care and protection. While I was at school in Switzerland and my parents were in the East, Science was a great comfort to me.

At one time a cyst developed on my eyelid, and I decided to work the problem out for myself. However, when after some months it had not cleared, my Sunday School teacher offered to help me.
