Ye Judge After The Flesh (John 8:15)

Several different renderings of the Greek phrase kata ten sarka (literally, after, or, in accordance with, the flesh) are possible, especially since the word sarx, from which the form sarka is derived, is often used to denote what Thayer has well described as "mere human nature, the earthly nature of man apart from divine influence." The rendering, "You judge by material standards." is suggested by Goodspeed.
