I have been an earnest student of Christian Science for over forty years, and during this space of time I have had many proofs of its healing, saving, and protecting power, for which I am profoundly grateful.

The Christian Science textbook by Mrs. Eddy was lent to me at my request when doctors had advised me to have a major operation to correct a prolapse of the womb after the birth of my third child. I read the book at every opportunity, and in a few weeks the truth contained therein set me free from this condition. Later I gave birth to my fourth child with no ill effects.

From childhood I had had delicate health. I had grown to have great faith in doctors and medicine; so it was some months before I had the courage to throw all my remedies away and put my whole faith in God, but I did throw them away.
