Before finding Science, I had...
Before finding Science, I had long yearned for a better understanding of God. At one time I remarked to the minister of the church of which I was a member that I felt there was more to Christianity than I was finding. Jesus said (John 10:10), "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."' I am now experiencing this abundant life through the study and application of Christian Science.
For the past twelve years I have relied on the knowledge of God I have gained in Science to meet my every need.
A short while after I had taken up the study of Christian Science our five-year-old daughter was hit in the eye with a pellet from a BB gun and was unable to open her eye. I called a Christian Science practitioner, who said she would help us through prayer. Soon after that, our daughter was able to open the eye. However, the next morning when she awakened, her eye was swollen shut. This was about eight o'clock on Sunday morning.
