"The true concept is never lost"

[Of Special Interest to Juniors]

Linda loved to treat her friends. One summer she decided to treat them to an afternoon at an amusement park. To earn enough money, she helped her mother with the cleaning and ran errands for the neighbors.

Several days before the trip Linda went shopping. Although she needed to buy only a pair of loafers, she took all her money with her. A short time later she returned home very much disturbed. She had lost her wallet with all the money in it.

Now Linda had learned to turn to Christian Science for help when she had a problem, and she had done this since she was a little girl. This time, however, although her mother tried to comfort her with statements of Truth from the Bible and Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, Linda did not listen. She was feeling too sorry for herself to listen. Loss and disappointment seemed so real. Error was trying hard to convince her that all her plans were ruined.
