One day I struck my head and...
One day I struck my head and my face. The shock to me was severe, and I found I could walk only in a circle. I could not walk in a straight line.
My sister, living in the same building, was telephoned to, and she came and walked with me to my apartment. I dropped down on the bed and endeavored to know clearly, as we learn in Christian Science, that man is God's reflection and that God sends forth as His reflection only completeness and perfection. Then I slept for about one hour. I fell asleep knowing the truth of man as he is, spiritual and perfect. I awakened with not the slightest indication of a blemish as a result of the experience, and I experienced no further ill effects.
Another recent experience I should like to mention is a healing of sciatica. This required earnest declarations of truth, and I held particularly to "the scientific statement of being." This beautiful, all-inclusive statement is found on page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and includes the following sentence: "Spirit is the real and eternal; matter is the unreal and temporal." Within a week all was harmonious.
