"Why weepest thou?"
"Through, Christ's gentle ministering touch, we shall awake
... to the allness of Truth and Love"
After the crucifixion of Jesus, "the first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre" (John 20:1). The account further relates that Mary, standing by the sepulcher, was asked first by two angels, later by the Master himself, "Woman, why weepest thou?"
