World events this century have led many people to ask, "Is Christianity dead?" or "Are we at the end of the Christian (or missionary) era?" Most often the question seems to be asked within the membership of the church .....
The question .... implies that perhaps the whole world is not going to accept Christianity as a universal faith and way of life .... It grows out of a rather short-range view of current happenings, and a failure to place them in perspective in the centuries of Christian history .....
