"Whenever we have felt close to God ... we have
truly partaken of spiritual love"
God is Love. Many of us have heard this statement from our earliest days, and we have no doubt pondered it. It is easy to identify God as Love when we are witnessing good in human experience, but where do we stand when we look upon distress, uncontrolled vice, rampant degeneracy? Has Love lost sight of its creation? Can we believe the words of the prophet Isaiah (40: 26), "He calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth"?
