The crucifixion of Christ Jesus and his resurrection are two of the momentous experiences in the annals of the human race. One was the epitome of all that is base and unworthy in human nature. The other was the essence of all that is noble and triumphant. Yet these two experiences were so closely linked together that one could say the crucifixion was the prelude to the resurrection.
