Christian Science came to our...
Christian Science came to our home in the early part of this century. My mother took up its study shortly before I was born, and I have experienced many blessings through its study and application. The one which I wish to share now is a physical healing I experienced several years ago.
I was on vacation and very suddenly became ill from a condition that incapacitated me. Although I did not know what it was, I did not call a doctor for a diagnosis. I turned to God and tried to pray for myself and to realize the truth of God and man; but I saw the wisdom of calling a Christian Science practitioner and a Christian Science nurse, since I was confined to my bed and could scarcely move at times without pain or discomfort.
The practitioner was patient and kind and always ready day or night to support me with her prayerful work. I shall always be grateful too for the kindly service of the Christian Science nurse who ministered to my needs. Loving friends also saw that I had every human need supplied.
