Activities for the Armed Services
From Australia come reports of Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services carried on by nine Christian Science Ministers and one Representative. Working together with the Supervisor, Australian Branch, in Melbourne, they serve members of Australian Armed Forces and those of nations around the world whose ships and planes call at Australian ports.
Speaking on Armed Services Activities of The Mother Church before members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Brisbane, the Supervisor said:
"With love, we encourage receptive hearts towards intelligent and harmonious being through understanding prayer, friendship, patience, and tolerance. In this Christianly scientific way, Armed Services Activities bring healing and redemption to the whole military consciousness, thus reducing militaristic tendencies.
