At the invitation of a friend, I attended my first Christian Science Sunday morning service many years ago. As I sat in that beautiful auditorium I felt the profound reverence of the congregation and the quietness and peace which filled the atmosphere. The clear tones of the Readers' voices as they read with such understanding from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and the music from the organ accompanying the healing words of the solo gave me the desire to know more of this wonderful religion.

The testimonies which I heard there on the Wednesday evening following were definite proofs of the healing efficacy of Christian Science although I sometimes understood little of what I heard.

In the textbook we read on page 547, "A simple statement of Christian Science, if demonstrated by healing, contains the proof of all here said of Christian Science." I should like to share an experience which proved to me the truth of that statement.
