Identity, the Reflection of Perfection
"Neither birth, mortal life, nor death can in any way
affect...perfect and immortal identity"
In Christian Science man is correctly identified as the image or reflection of God, the ever-active embodiment of His spiritual qualities. Man is thus the manifest expression of God, and he includes by reflection every quality and condition characterizing the divine nature. Because man is eternally embraced within God, his individuality forever reflects the divine. This does not imply that man is a mere automaton or that his nature is stereotyped. The infinite elements of Mind impart the rich and varied hues of the divine character.
