FINGERPOSTS
One
twig that grows beside the dusty way
proclaims a field with lilac trees nearby.
One star imprinted on the midnight sky
attests a universe of endless day.
One word of Truth, spoken and understood,
erases troubled dreams of false belief,
wakens the thought to rise from weary grief
and learn of Love's compassionate fatherhood.
Led by God's guiding fingerposts, we find
a larger, freer world in which to live,
riches of love to share, comfort to give.
for we approach the radiant realm of Mind.
