The study of Christian Science...

The study of Christian Science was not taken up by my family for its healing benefits. The desire to study it stemmed from the need for a clearer understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him.

Supply has become available in our human experience through an understanding of God's laws, which govern man's true, spiritual supply. We were helped by studying and applying the following citation from "The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany" by Mrs. Eddy (p. 186): "Rest assured that He in whom dwelleth all life, health, and holiness, will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory."

Another helpful passage by Mrs. Eddy is from "Miscellaneous Writings" and reads (p. 307): "God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment."
