I am writing this testimony to show how the power of God is available now to save us from inharmonious conditions. In my experience, through an understanding of Christian Science, lack has been replaced by abundance and domestic inharmony has been replaced by harmonious living. Suggestions of sin, sorrow, sickness, and death have been silenced by the understanding of God as All-in-all, the only power, and by the knowledge that man has dominion over all the earth.

My married son was healed of a painful internal infection through the prayers of a practitioner. When he first became ill I went to his home and stayed nearly a week, praying and studying almost continually. In my study I pondered the ninety-first Psalm and Jesus' works of healing recounted in the Bible, together with truths from Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. He appeared to be healed, but afterward the same condition appeared again. I went to stay at his home again, and this time he also had help from a practitioner, who did much prayerful work. The difficulty came in a light form and was healed in a few days.

I also want to tell of the healing of an injury to one of my legs. I fell, twisting a knee and cracking a bone below it. I was able to get up, so I walked to the front door; from there I called to a girl, telling her to ask my granddaughter and her husband to come over. My whole body became almost useless.
