The Bible says of God (Job 22:21),...
The Bible says of God (Job 22: 21), "Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee." It is with a deep sense of gratitude for the fulfillment of this promise and with a desire to share my experiences with others that I write this testimony.
I have had many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science since I first began the study of this religion. One of these was a healing of a painful knee injury which I sustained while skiing. My own prayerful metaphysical work did not meet the situation; so I asked for the help of a practitioner.
The first truth that she expressed to me was that man, who is actually the idea or reflection of God, is spiritually upright and unfallen. She said that God's ideas do not collide and cannot be hurt; so this must also be true of me as actually an idea of God. She stressed the importance of my realizing one of the basic concepts of Christian Science, the unreality of matter.
