Shortly before his crucifixion, Christ Jesus said to his disciples (Mark 1:5:37), "What I say unto you I say unto all. Watch." Particularly do we as Christian Scientists need to watch our mental attitude toward those situations which, to human sense, are adverse. In such a situation— whether it be one of sickness, accident, a discordant relationship, lack, or loss—we should seek good and guard against the subtle error of drifting into anxiety, depression, despondency, and doubt.
