This testimony is submitted in sincere gratitude to God for the blessings which have come to me through the teachings of Christian Science, as revealed by our Leader. I have been guided and protected every step of the way for forty years and many times have been helped by these verses from Proverbs (3:5, 6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
In my early days in Christian Science it proved to be the Comforter promised by Christ Jesus, and I was greatly helped by the understanding that God is not only man's Father, but also his Mother; this fact gives one a great sense of ever-present Love.
For the years spent as a pupil in a Christian Science Sunday School, I am grateful. During that time the spiritual truths I learned aided me in my studies and in passing examinations which led to a satisfactory career.
