Claiming It

"God gives man ... a most satisfying inheritance"

If a person was left a large sum of money, would it do him any good if he did not claim it? He surely could not use any of it, if he did not assert his right to possess it. According to one dictionary, the verb "claim" means, "To demand on the ground of right; ... to hold to be true against implied denial or doubt."
