Many blessings have come into...
Many blessings have come into my life through the study of Christian Science, and I wish to express my gratitude by telling about some of the healings and experiences I have had.
My first healing was that of a hemorrhage. I was serving in a merchant ship; and while we were in dock in a foreign port, a bleeding from my mouth began which I suspected was coming from the throat or chest. Immediately one of Mrs. Eddy's admonitions came to my thought to arrest the false belief of sickness. It was this one: "Beloved Christian Scientists, keep your minds so filled with Truth and Love, that sin, disease, and death cannot enter them" (The First Church of Christ, Scientist, and Miscellany, p. 210).
I began to know that if I was keeping my thought filled with goodness, there was no room in it for false beliefs of any kind. This reasoning was of great help to me, but there was a little fear lurking in the background of my thought; so I decided to telephone a Christian Science practitioner.
