In our family we have had many healings in Christian Science, including those of a wart, a streptococcic sore throat, colds, pneumonia, skin blemishes, and a cyst on one eye. When my younger daughter was about three years of age she had a wart on one of her fingers. I worked prayerfully for her in accordance with the teachings of Christian Science, and in a few days the wart was gone.
Some years ago my elder daughter had a streptococcic infection of the throat. She had medical treatment but was ill for two weeks. A year later the same condition presented itself; but this time she asked for the help of a Christian Science practitioner, and within a week she was completely well.
Shortly before I was to have class instruction in Christian Science, my ankles began to swell and my knees to be painful. The next day the condition was worse, making it very difficult for me to walk. I called a practitioner for help, and I too prayed.
