I should like to share with others who may be seeking a healing through the study of Christian Science some of the many healings I have experienced and witnessed.

When word was received that my father had passed on quite unpectedly, my mother almost collapsed. A practitioner who was present grasped her by the shoulders and fairly shouted these words: "We must not believe this lie; we must defeat it!" Instantly my mother regained her composure, and at that moment we were both healed of shock and grief at my father's passing.

I wondered then if I could possibly be healed of grief this quickly if my mother passed on, for I had always dreaded the thought of being separated from her. Several years later I was faced with this separation, and I am very grateful to be able to say I was healed almost instantly of grief through the loving and sustaining prayers of friends who came to my home to be with me.
