I am sincerely grateful for all the blessings I have received since I began the study of Christian Science about eighteen years ago. Daily I am gaining a clearer understanding of God and of man, and this understanding provides the answer to all problems. Christian Science has healed me of many discordant conditions, including colds, sore throat, headache, burns, and the need for a stomach support. I was also healed of the smoking and social drinking habits.

One of my first healings was that of periodic pain, which had plagued me from adolescence. I had consulted reputable physicians, seeking relief from nausea, faintness, and pain; but, like the woman in the Bible, I "was nothing bettered" (Mark 5:26).

While away from home one afternoon, I became quite ill with these symptoms. A kind clerk called a Christian Science practitioner, who drove me home, voicing spiritual truths to me on the way. When we reached the house, a quarter of an hour later, I was healed! That was the end of the difficulty.
