WORDS OF CURRENT INTEREST
[The words in this issue are related to the Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly designated to be read in Christian Science churches on May 6, 1962.]
I have laid help upon that is mighty (Ps. 89:19)
Many scholars contend that instead of the Hebrew form 'zr (help) we should read the closely similar term nzr (crown), and this indeed would appear to clarify the thought of the passage, especially since the writer goes on to say, "I have exalted one chosen out of the people," a clause which forms a natural parallel to the crowning of the mighty one.
