Many years ago I was healed in Christian Science of a tubercular condition. That healing was complete, and I am grateful for it. Since then I have proved over and over again the omnipotence and omnipresence of God. The spiritual interpretation of the Bible messages and promises gained through a study of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy brings a deeper satisfaction and joy than words can wholly describe.

I should like now to relate an experience which proves the protection that is instantaneously ours when we recognize that man is spiritual, made in the image and likeness of God. I was hurriedly preparing dinner, and while cooking apples in a pressure cooker I took the cooker from the stove into a utility room. I returned to the kitchen for a moment, and then when I went back to the pan I forgot to run cold water on it before lifting the steam control. The force blew the lid off, and the hot sweetened apple sauce burned my arms, face, and neck.
