RADIO PROGRAM No. 414 - "I shall not want"
SPEAKER: Some time ago a leading magazine showed a close-up of faces in a crowd crossing a busy intersection. Most of them were studies in anxiety, dissatisfaction, disillusionment. What is the answer to these states of thought that we see around us so often? In the Bible we find these comforting words: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." But is this a practical answer today?
Our guest, Mrs. Gladys Girard of San Diego, California, is going to tell us how she found it both practical and completely satisfying.
MRS. GIRARD: Those words. "I shall not want," really marked a turning point in my life.
