Christian Science is the law of God and the purpose of this testimony is to glorify God. I have depended on Science for thirty years, and it has never failed me. When I first had occasion to visit a Christian Science practitioner, I did not know much about Science. While I was there, the practitioner asked me if there was anything bothering me, and I answered: "Oh, yes! I have abscessed ears, and they cannot be healed."

For years I had been going regularly to a doctor for treatment to ease the pain. The doctor had told me he could relieve, but could not heal, the condition. The practitioner asked me if I would like her to give me a treatment. I agreed, and she gave me Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy to read while she prayed.

I did not think of the ears until weeks later, when I realized they were not discharging and had not been painful during that time. The ears cleared up, and I have not had any trouble since and have always been very grateful for that healing. But I am even more grateful for the understanding of God and man that I have gained through the study of Science, which surely gives us "the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" (Phil. 4:7). I have had many other healings, and Science was a great help to me in bringing up my children.
