I shall always be grateful to...

I shall always be grateful to the neighbor who introduced Christian Science to my family many years ago. I have proved that the application of Truth as taught by this religion is preventive as well as curative; this is exemplified by the fact that I have suffered from no serious physical ailment during these years. Mrs. Eddy has written on page 495 of the textbook. Science and Health: "When the illusion of sickness or sin tempts you, cling steadfastly to God and His idea. Allow nothing but His likeness to abide in your thought."

By recognizing sickness as an illusion and quickly dispelling it, I have prevented it from developing. I have solved problems in business, in social life, and in daily human experience through the application of Science.

I have been absent from my position because of physical problems only a few times during many years in business. Gratitude is felt for the ready response of devoted practitioners, when it has been necessary to receive their help. Abundant supply has been manifested through knowing that God, Spirit, is true substance and that He supplies all man's needs. Healings experienced by me have been those of impatience, grief, a sprained ankle, and an infected toe. Recently influenza was healed by my own recognition of man's perfect, spiritual selfhood.
