The Wednesday testimony meetings, held in all branch Churches of Christ, Scientist, have given me many opportunities to express gratitude for the understanding of God that has come to me through the study of Christian Science. Now I feel it is right to show my appreciation of the testimonies printed in The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel by sharing with readers some of the proofs of the healing power of Truth witnessed in our family of five.

During the years in which our three children have grown into young adults there have been many opportunities to apply our understanding of God's ever-presence. The birth of our first child was harmonious, even though the doctor said the baby had only one chance out of a hundred to be born alive. The fears of my husband and myself were allayed through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner.

This daughter, who is now of college age, has attended a Christian Science Sunday School since she was two and a half years old. As a young girl she occasionally suffered from severe earache, but this condition was healed through Christian Science treatments many years ago. On one occasion, when boiling sirup spilled over her bare legs and feet, she had a very quick healing. The incident occurred one evening, and she attended school the next morning free from any aftereffects.
