Christian Science was introduced to our family before I was five years old, and my mother was healed at that time of fear of childbirth. This was over fifty years ago, and since then I have witnessed many instances of protection and healing when I have been willing to put my full trust in God, as we are taught to do in Christian Science.

At one time I was told by a physician, to whom I had gone at the request of my husband, that I had an abdominal tumor and that it might be malignant. "I don't think your Science will take care of that," said the doctor. But through the help of Christian Science practitioner, I was healed in less than a year. I have also been healed of chronic sick headaches, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, blood poisoning, and many other ills.

I did not know just when the healing of rheumatism came, but I awoke to the fact that self-pity and self-jurisfication cannot be identified with spiritual man in God's image. When I was tempted to believe those traits belonged to me, I would deny the suggestion. Later I noticed that I was no longer troubled by rheumatism.
