I should like to express gratitude...
I should like to express gratitude for a healing I received in Christian Science about twenty years ago. I had just left my home in the western part of Canada to work in an eastern city that was completely new to me. I had been there but a few weeks when I developed an acute case of rheumatic fever.
I tried to help myself for two days without success. The condition grew very serious. I then called a Christian Science practitioner, who came to see me immediately. Her first question was, "What have you been thinking?"
I had no hesitation in telling her that for two years I had been in a state of mental rebellion due to my being placed in what I considered an unfair situation.
