I had been in and out of hospitals for many years with what was diagnosed as a chronic pulmonary condition. This prevented me from engaging in the normal pursuits of life. I was without hope, funds, or friends. Then about six years ago I listened to a radio program entitled "How Christian Science Heals." The healing related in this program was of a condition similar to mine.

I was inspired to attend a Christian Science church service and also a lecture given in the same church in the afternoon. I was greatly impressed with the truth of God and man which was brought out at the service and the lecture. It was revealed to me very clearly that God is Love, and I was filled with hope and expectancy. I was ready to give up reliance upon all material aids.
