RADIO PROGRAM No. 399 - A Workman "approved unto God"

SPEAKER: Most of us have had to work out business problems of one kind or another, and sometimes they can be pretty baffling. But anyone in business can gain a sense of unerring guidance and direction through learning how to pray with spiritual understanding.

Now the idea of turning to God in a business situation may be strange to some, but to our guest, Mrs. Florence Southwell, of Orlando, Florida, it was the most natural thing she could do. Suppose you tell us your experience, Mrs. Southwell.

MRS. SOUTHWELL: It was in Washington during World War II. I'd taken a position as an accountant in a government agency whose financial operations extended to countries all over the world. But for the first several months the head accountant allowed me to do only minor clerical work; I wasn't allowed to learn the accounting system or have anything to do with the accounting records.
